Kris is a diversified, veteran marketing professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the medical device industry. Her areas of expertise include commercialization, product launches, KOL engagement, marketing communications, and creating meaningful content for audiences across the healthcare spectrum. Kris had a long career working for large, global companies like Boston Scientific and St. Jude Medical, as well as her recent role at a cardiovascular startup in the Research Triangle, nContact. Kris was brought in to drive greater awareness for the company’s innovative multidisciplinary technology, creating comprehensive marketing programs for physicians, hospitals, patients, and clinical trial sites. After a successful acquisition by AtriCure in 2016, Kris launched Medosaic, a medical marketing partner to help startups and conventional companies build and expand their marketing footprint. Kris has an M.A. in Sociology from San Jose State University, with research in DTC pharmaceutical advertising and its effects on gender stereotypes; and her B.A. is in Psycho-Biology (Neurosciences) from the University of California Santa Cruz.
